I have never been disappointed by Nooraani; in fact I go so often they appeared on the phone bill as friends and family (how sad is that?).
It has the appearance of a ramshackle caf and if you are lloking for sophistication this is not the place for you: the holographic placemats can be a bit scary.
But Mr Naan is the absolute daddy of all naan makers and his keema naan (a thick juicy layer of lamb inside, rather than occasional pellets) is the best I have ver tried. Also on the menu is a naan "the size of a spaceship" which gets the idea across, if not trades descriptions accurate.
All food is freshly cooked in the open kitchen and they are very flexible with what's on offer. Beware the slight language barrier/deafness which can mean a chicken tikka balti with mushrooms has more than once arrived as chicken tikka massala.
An absolute gem. I am headtbroken that they close on Sundays now.

Hi! Thanks for the review. we at NOORAANI BALTI HOUSE really appreciate your gesture that you took out your valueable time and wrote this review and are pleased that you are quite satisfied overall about our place.
We are pleased to announce that the restaurant has underwent total refurbishment throughout. It has the latest air-conditioning system, soft wall colours as well as soft lighting arrangements.
The washroom also went through the refurbishment with new floors and wall ceramic tiles, soft wall colours and low voltage lighting. Also new WCs and modern wash hand basen, automatic hand drier and a large mirror to help ladies with their last minute touch ups.
We have now intreduced a new menu with some exciting new starters and main dishes as well as our very new 'DESI DISHES'.
We now open 7-days a week including Sunday.
