After trying all the indian restaurants in Sheldon we ventured a little further afield
tonight for the boys away from the girls weekly night out. If anyone is interested
Raznur 2 is by far the best of the Coventry (A45) Road ones, although I am told that
Paprika Lounge at Hobs Moat is better - next on the list.

Popadoms to nibble while looking at the menu - served nice and crisp, with an onion
marmalade that was stunning, mint sauce again very, very good; onion salad (OK) and
mango chutney again OK.

Starters were a Chicken Pakora and a Prawn Poori, we shared the starters between
us - is that not what friends are for? The pakora was one of the best I have ever tasted!
The Poori was very well spiced and served in a folded over Poori, could not fault anything.

Mains were a North Indian Garlic Chicken and a Chicken Jalfrezi for me, with two
boiled rice. Cannot comment on the Nort Indain Chicken as I did not taste it, but
George finished every bit of it and raved about the taste and quality. My Jalfrezi was
very well spiced, so much so that the owner came over to make sure I was OK as
my face was a little red (ok a lot). It had a very, very good kick to it but not in the
wat that you could not taste things. Plenty of green chillis that you could push to
one side if you needed to.

A good bottle of Crianze Rijoa (£12.95) and a couple of pints of Cobra the bill came
in at about £50 including tip. In the 4 courses for £7.99 that seem to abound this
area Mint is expensive, but based on the quality of the food - we will be back time
and time again.
