. i went to the art kithen in warwick last weekend, i met up with some friends that live in warwick and they have always said it was good. they weren't wrong its a small restaurant on 2 floors with a bar stool and table area when you walk in which is also used for dinning. we sat upstairs. the walls are full of art work and photos done by the owner.
the food was good and very authentic thai the chef is apparently from a 5 star hotel in bankok and the front of house staff used to work on the orient express.
to the food the menu was set out in the from of 1 bit, 2 bits ,liquid bits , mains, sides and dessert. i went for a 2 bit which was egg net parcels 1 filled with minced chicken and chilli the 2nd with prawns and corriander and a chilli jam dip. i then had a liquid bit of a chicken, mushroom, coconut milk and galengal. with the odd chunk of chilli thrown in- it got hot as you ate it the only negative point was the lemon gras pieces in it which were inedable. .for main i had a lamb masaman curry and jasime rice it was stunning full of soft braised lamb and potatoes.
my friends had equally nice food i have been to thailand and mayalisa on holiday and this is by far the best and authentic i have had in this country and would highly recomend it if you can get in the place was ramed with people waiting for tables. the service was good. they have a great product. also to mention there are arty photoes in the gents toilets of some super models not wearing many clothes if any.
