We ate at the Oriental this past Saturday night (10/7). The food was decent, but the service was absolutely terrible. The waiter was very unattentive, the food came out very slow and once it did he never checked back with us. At the end of the meal it took a long time for the staff to clear the dishes. They dropped off dessert menus, but never came back. When we finally went to the counter to pay the bill (since they never came back) we complained about the poor service. There was no evidence of management and little concern for our complaint. I went to talk to the waiter and his response was ... "you complain, blah, blah, blah".
As you can imagine this completely spoiled the evening. What made things even worse was that they snuck in a 10% gratuity without us knowing (which partially explains why no one at the Oriental cared about our dissatisfaction).
