The Tandoor is a barrel-shaped clay oven which is associated with North Indian cuisine.
To produce the distinctive ‘tandoor’ flavour each dish is marinated overnight before

The Masala Dosa is South India’s signature dish.
Prepared using special equipment from India, the dosa is a large pancake made from a batter
of rice flour and lentil, which can be filled with a variety of foods. To capture the true essence
of this very distinctive meal our specially trained South Indian chefs will bring you the authentic
taste of the South Indian continent.

The Masala Dosa was first presented at the famous Woodlands Hotel in South India. In its original form the plain dosa
was served with a potato curry, but placing the potato
in the rolled dosa became very popular as people favoured the masala dosa for its crispiness and presentation.

It has since become a trademark of South Indian cuisine all over the world!
